We manufacture coils with different types of fins and tube materials, and designs with various thicknesses. Mostly copper, aluminium fins and pre coated aluminum fins are being used. Copper tubes, aluminum tubes, carbon steel tubes, stainless steel tubes, cupro nickel tubes, aluminium brass tubes etc. are being used to assemble these coils based on their functions and applications.
We specialize in design and manufacturing of Evaporator (Direct Expansion – DX) Coils for HVAC equipments. Standard or custom built direct expansion cooling coils (evaporator) are manufactured for a wide variety of applications.
Single, dual or quad compressor circuits are available for both duct mounted and central system applications. Options of row and face control, as well as interlaced circuiting provide the highest precision in capacity regulation.
Complete design flexibility allows each coil to be furnished with special connectors, distributors, and framework designed to suit customer specific needs. Our unique interlaced circuiting options assure uniform refrigerant distribution over the entire face area of the coil. Wide fin spacing availability reduces the affect of frost build-up on low temperature applications.
DOLPHIN air-cooled condensers are single row or multiple row compact fin & tube (fin block type) coils which are suitable for all types of condensing applications. The units are designed to use standard commercial and industrial refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.Typically, the refrigerant is first de-superheated, and then condensed from vapor to liquid within the condenser.
We design and manufacture condenser coils for O.E.M. and aftermarket replacement applications. Condenser coils are available in single or multiple circuits to meet any condensing or heat reclamation project.
Replacement ‘L’ shaped, ‘U’ shaped or round condensing coils can be manufactured to customer specifications. Separate integrated sub-cooling circuits can also be designed into the coil. We also design and manufacture remote type condenser coils with fan assemblies and steel structures which are used in chiller units and other industrial applications.
DOLPHIN heating / steam coils are constructed for suitable steam or hot fluid’s high pressures. Standard configurations, as well as special arrangements are available.
Heating coils typically feature steam/ hot fluid supply header and condensed return headers and connections on opposite sides of the coil. Hot fluid supply connections are typically placed centrally on the supply header, with the condensed return connections typically placed at the bottom of the return header providing self-draining. Our Heating coils are specifically designed with condensation management system in mind. Tube and connection sizes are combined to limit condensed retention in the coil.
Carefully sized orifices are located in each of the core tube entrances into the header. Dual-tube coils utilize a smaller inner tube, with precisely spaced, directional, orifice-type perforations. This helps to direct condensed flow to the return header. The steam supply, condensed-return headers, and connections may be fabricated in 'same-end' or 'opposite-end' orientation.
With a complete range of cold water and fluid coils, our range is capable of utilizing water, glycol solutions, ground water, and other fluids. Standard chilled water cooling and hot water heating coils may also be manufactured to client specifications.
Booster coils built with either flanged or slip-and-drive casings are also available. These coils are commonly duct-mounted or used within VAV units for low-capacity reheat applications. Booster coils are constructed without headers, in either one or two circuit configurations.
Fluid coolers for oil, after cooling, and special purpose cooling can be designed to customer’s exact project requirements. Blast coolers, are a fast and efficient way of rejecting heat from process fluids before further cooling. These cooling coils are used in various engineering industrial, marine, hotel and commercial applications. Our cooling coils are widely used for remote type power generator engine cooling systems as well.
DOLPHIN has the facility to manufacture cold / heat recovery (run-around) coils as they are an effective way to reclaim waste or process heat / cold that would otherwise be lost, providing valuable operating cost savings. The special types of inner grooved or capillary tubes are used for effective condensing and evaporative processes.

Thermoguard (T.G. Coating) offers a wide range of product applications to increase the corrosion resistance of HVAC & R units and other coils. The capacity of a heat exchanger originates from the absorption or rejection of heat from the aluminum / copper finned surfaces.The coolant travels through the copper or other tubes transporting the heat throughout the system. When corrosion is present, it deteriorates the finned surface area and/or the bonding between aluminium fins and copper tubes (known as galvanic corrosion), therefore the capacity of the heat exchanger can deterioate substantially.
